Welcome
Boys & Girls Clubs of East Los Angeles - Serves over 2,500 youth ages 5-18, primarily in the Local District 5 area of East Los Angeles and surrounding areas. Our after school programs help thousands of kids stay in school and encourage them to go on to higher education. We work with community organizations, civic and community leaders to structure programs that help youth and families in at-risk areas lead healthier, more productive lives.

BGCELA Members & Parents Recently Recognized for Excellence
BGCA Pacific Region Inspirational Father Award presented by Kimberly-Clark
Carlos Olivas Martinez
Our club nominated Mr. Carlos Martinez for this award for good reason. Carlos' daughters joined our club in 2005 and he became a volunteer. He fixed anything that was broken. Eventually, we hired him to be our Facilities Manager but he has also added Soccer Coach and Smart Ride Driver to his responsibilities. Carlos is generous, hard working and compassionate. An avid gardner, he makes the club a beautiful place both inside and out.
Microsoft Western Region Club Tech Champions
Winners demonstrated outstanding techical skills, leadership and team work in executing various projects using Microsoft media. Each winner will be recognized and awarded a Net Book at Club Tech Celebration at the LA Boys & Girls Club on Thursday, May 27th.
